Tennis star Serena Williams went out on the town for the first time since being hospitalized for a blood clot in February. She was joined by some celebrity friends, including reality stars Kelly Rowland and Kim Kardashian, and TV presenter LaLa Vasquez.

While it was great to see the star holding up so well after such a scary incident, the same cannot be said for her flimsy jump suit, which failed to hold its own against an army of flashbulbs and became see-through under the cameras' glare. Williams clearly committed a fashion no-no by wearing white underwear beneath her paper-thin black ensemble.

One can even opt for the casual-chic look, as seen in Victoria's secret model Alessandra Ambrosio's wardrobe. A pair of jeans with a loose fitting top that accentuates the bust is quite attractive.

Luckily, a lot of the celebrity fashion for this summer/spring season work well with pregnant women. The catwalk is full of 70's inspired styles, maxi dresses and kaftans which are perfect for expecting mothers.
